🌼 Gita Verse 1 (Karma Yoga)
Verses (Chapter 2, Verse 47):
You have the right to action only, never to fruits.
Let not the fruits of action be thy motive, nor let thy attachment be to inaction.
meaning:
Your right is only in doing the deed, not in its fruit.
Therefore, do not desire the fruits of action and do not be attached to not doing action.
Meaning:
Karma done with unselfishness is true karma yoga.
🌼 Gita Verse 2 (Peace of Mind)
Verses (Chapter 6, Verse 5):
He should lift himself by himself and not lower himself.
For the Self alone is the friend of the Self and the Self alone is the enemy of the Self.
meaning:
Man must save himself by himself.
Man is both his own friend and his own enemy.
Meaning:
Our mind can make or break our lives.
🌼 Gita Verse 3 (Knowledge of the Self)
Verses (Chapter 2, Verse 20):
He is never born or dies
Neither has it been nor will it be again.
meaning:
The soul is never born and never dies.
It has always been and always will be.
Meaning:
The body is mortal, the soul is immortal.
🌼 Gita Verse 4 (Bhakti Yoga)
Verses (Chapter 9, Verse 22):
Those who worship Me, thinking of no other.
I bear the safety of Yoga for those ever engaged.
meaning:
Those devotees who worship Me with exclusive devotion,
I take care of all their needs myself.
Meaning:
True devotion requires complete surrender.
🌼 Gita Verse 5 (Balanced Life)
Verses (Chapter 6, Verse 17):
In the actions of one who eats and plays properly and moves properly.
Yoga of steady dream and awakening becomes the destroyer of pain.
meaning:
A person who is restrained in food, behavior, actions and sleep,
For him, yoga is the destroyer of suffering.
Meaning:
A balanced life is the path to happiness and peace.
🌼 Gita Verse 6 (Equality)
Verses (Chapter 2, Verse 48):
Being in Yoga, do actions, abandoning attachment, O Arjuna.
Being equal to perfection and imperfection, evenness is called Yoga.
meaning:
O Arjuna! Give up attachment and act with equality.
Yoga is to be the same in success and failure.
